10 reasons I am going to hate this Super Bowl

We’re going to be talking about the Super Bowl a lot over the next two weeks. After all, it is the biggest sports betting event of the year, and sports betting is what we are all about. Let’s get started. I have to admit that I am not that excited about this match-up. Okay, I hate it. Here’s why:

Sunday NFL Wild Card games

Unlike Saturday, these games do absolutely nothing to excite me. That doesn’t mean I won’t pick them, though. I am a wild man.
New York Giants (+2.5) at Tampa Bay – I have gone back and forth on this one, but in the end I just have to go with the Bucs. I don’t like where the Giants are mentally after losing to the Pats despite laying it all out, and I don’t like their injury status. There are more NFL games this weekend than we have seen since before the bye weeks started, yet there are only three that strike my fancy. I am intrigued by Buffalo and their mountain of points at home, but I can’t convince myself to pull the trigger on it.
New York Giants (-3) at Detroit – I know I said I was done with betting on the Lions, but I just can’t quit them. I don’t trust the Giants at all, and Detroit has been great at home, So the value lies in the Lions and the points. Pick: Detroit.
