Giants (-4.5) at Atlanta – This is a particularly interesting game to evaluate because it seems a bit too good to be true. The Giants looked rough early last week against the Jets, but they came back nicely to deliver their third straight solid win. Just five NFL games capture my attention this week, and they are all early games, so I will be able to relax by 4:00 eastern. It’s Thanksgiving here in Canada, so that just leaves me more time to eat and drink too much:
Detroit (+4) at Washington – I keep hearing how I am supposed to be so impressed with Washington, but I don’t see it. Their running game is decent, but their QB is still raw (though talented). Detroit is flawed, but solid. I don’t see Washington running away with this one, so taking four points makes sense. Pick: Detroit.
