San Diego in Colorado for a best-of-one. How can you not love that?
The public is jumping all over Jake Peavy and the Padres. I’m not buying it. I don’t love Josh Fogg, but the Rockies are at home, they are the hottest team in baseball, they are playing a team that fizzled down the stretch, and they are +120. That’s a lot of reasons for me to be on Colorado.
UPDATE: What a freaking game. That was high drama at its best, and a perfect start to the playoffs. 9-8 Colorado in 13 innings - you couldn’t have scripted that better.
