Georgia Tech (-4.5) vs. Fresno State (Monday, Dec. 31, 2:00 p.m. ET) – Time to take another underdog. Fresno State had their problems, but they played tough against the tough teams on their schedule. I was particularly impressed by the way they handled Kansas State. Georgia Tech is a more talented team, but they have too many troubles. Not only did their coach get fired, but new coach Paul Johnson brings in an entirely different kind of offense, so players are going to be distracted by the future. Focus has been a big problem for Georgia Tech all year and this game should be no exception. The game should be tight and slow, which means I like taking points. Pick: Fresno State.
